Are Created On Planet Earth Products Allergen-Free?

Simply put, an allergen is a usually harmless substance that causes an allergic reaction in an individual. An allergy is a misguided response from the immune system to a foreign substance, and individuals can have allergies to practically any substance in the world. At Created On Planet Earth, we formulate with certain nut- and soy-based ingredients that may be allergens for some individuals.

Coconut Oil*

Lecithin (Soy Derivative)

Soybean Oil

Soybean Protein

Sesame Seed Oil

Shea Butter

Walnut Shell Powder

Wheat Germ Oil

Wheat Straw Glucosides

The FDA classifies shea and coconut as tree nuts. However, no allergies have been documented to shea nut oil or butter, and while coconut allergies have been documented, most people allergic to tree nuts do not react to coconut.
